Description
This topical solution pairs minoxidil 5% with a low-dose dutasteride 0.005% concentration for users targeting minimal daily dutasteride exposure while preserving the established benefits of minoxidil therapy. The Trichosol-based vehicle supports quick absorption and scalp tolerability. Thanks to its Trichosol base, the solution is devoid of ethanol and propylene glycol, and is thus skin friendly.
Standard twice-daily use at 1mL per application results in a total daily dutasteride exposure of approximately 0.1mg, within ranges associated with predominantly localized scalp activity. A 50mL bottle corresponds to approximately 25 days of standard use.
Composition (50mL): Trichosol q.s. ad 50mL; Ethoxy Diglycol (Transcutol P) 5mL; Distilled Water 5mL; Minoxidil 2.5g (50mg/mL); Dutasteride 2.5mg (0.05mg/mL); Sodium Benzoate 50mg.
