Description
This topical solution delivers minoxidil 5% alongside a reduced finasteride 0.0125% concentration for users targeting lower daily finasteride exposure while maintaining full minoxidil activity. The Trichosol-based vehicle is optimized for consistent scalp absorption. Thanks to its Trichosol base, the solution is devoid of ethanol and propylene glycol, and is thus skin friendly.
Typical twice-daily use at 1mL per application results in a total daily finasteride exposure of approximately 0.25mg, within ranges associated with predominantly localized scalp activity. A 50mL bottle corresponds to approximately 25 days of standard use.
Composition (50mL): Trichosol q.s. ad 50mL; Ethoxy Diglycol (Transcutol P) 5mL; Distilled Water 5mL; Minoxidil 2.5g (50mg/mL); Finasteride 6.25mg (0.125mg/mL); Sodium Benzoate 50mg.
